Located directly on the beach, this bungalow offers a classic beach holiday with gorgeous ocean vistas throughout the entire home. An open layout features a full kitchen and an inviting living area with a intelligent TV - ideal for movie nights. Step out to the private deck and appreciate front-row ocean vistas. A gas grille and picnic table set the scene for cookouts at home, while a gas firepit invites comfortable fireside chats.

Spend the day splashing in the ocean or calming on the soft sand. Or walk to close by Middleton Park, where you’ll find a neighborhood playground, tennis courts, pickleball courts, a soccer field, and a picnic shelter. Southport is within a short drive, and Bald Head Island is a fast ferry ride away.

Located on the beach, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport.   • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Oak Island. To find the best value, consider shifting your vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Wrightsville Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Booking your rental property six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Some owners offer rate reductions for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.

  • Just before checking out, complete a final walk-through to make sure you didn't forget any personal items. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent feedback to inspire new bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective.
