When to visit Southport & When to reserve a rental home:

  • In the Wrightsville Beach area, The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Reserving your vacation property up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
  • Booking in Fall or Spring months is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
