A $500 hypoallergenic cleaning fee will be applied to any guest who is found to have violated either of the above, and will be asked to leave the property. Early eviction does not warrant any refund of rent or security deposit.


There is tons to do for of all ages around the CB area. Surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and cycling are all favorites among the locals. The Carolina Beach boardwalk features some great eateries, including the famed Britt's Donuts, an amusement park during the summer, and local stores.

During the summer months, there are extraordinary activities for both kids and adults. Thursday nights host fireworks at the boardwalk; Friday evenings have complimentary outdoor concerts at Fort Fisher State park; Saturdays include a delicious farmer's market from local stores and farms; and Sunday nights show complimentary movies at the lake.

Fort Fisher, a short drive away, hosts an award-winning Aquarium, the South Port ferry (a short ride across the cape fear river to a striking coastal town with many stores and eateries), and the Fort Fisher American Civil War museum.

About the Area

Wilmington Beach, a neighborhood in Carolina Beach, is home to this condo. Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Halyburton Park and Carolina Beach. Carolina Beach Boardwalk and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School are also worth visiting.

• June, July, and August are high season in the Wrightsville Beach area. Booking your vacation home in Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. • In the Wrightsville Beach area, The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation home up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
• Some property management companies offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group.
• Property managers frequently offer customers an option to add vacation insurance. • Walk through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
• Did your family have a terrific time? Most rental managers make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
