The Bald Head Island Club and Shoals Club operate independently from BHI Vacations, and guest memberships must be purchased directly through each club. Availability varies by home listing, and during the summer season, memberships may sell out quickly. To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend securing your club membership as early as possible.

Additionally, the Bald Head Island ferry system is independently operated and not affiliated with BHI Vacations. To ensure a smooth arrival and departure, we encourage guests to book ferry and tram reservations well in advance.

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is next to a golf course. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Oak Island Lighthouse are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Caswell Beach.   • The sooner you can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites typically offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection.   • On check-out day, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget anything. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager is not available, take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a wonderful time? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
