Our Dome Home is located on a point overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway providing vistas from every room. The sun rises are spectacular. Our sizable sliding glass doors and wrap around deck are ideal for viewing dolphins swimming, pelicans in flight and herons wading in waters edge. A favorite pastime is sitting in the rocking chairs on the deck at sunset appreciating the the salt air and nature.

Finding the best value:

  • In the Wrightsville Beach area, The earlier you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation rental six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Wrightsville Beach area. To find the largest rental home within your budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.

  • Be a good neighbor. Often, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property one final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Leave a review! Property owners rely on great feedback to compel more bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will appreciate that you share your review find their best vacation rental.
