About this Property

  • Sleeps 6
  • 2 Bedrooms
  • 2 Bathrooms
  • Condo
  • Approximately 850 square feet

This is a light and airy first level oceanfront unit with a covered balcony deck. This unit has two bedrooms and two full private baths. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. There are also two single roll away beds in the bedroom closet if needed. This condo has a six person limit.
You will also have the convenience of two full private baths for your comfort and privacy. This condo has been freshly painted this summer with new doors, new fans, light fixtures, new vinyl floor and new electrical outlets, and switches. We installed three new intelligent TV's on wall mounts in July 2021. In January 2022, we installed a brand new kitchen with granite countertops and subway tile backsplash. We also purchased brand new appliances. You will have covered assigned parking for two cars only! If you already have two cars at the condo, you cannot have a third. Electric golf carts are not allowed, but gas operated ones are. If you rent a golf cart, it will count as your second car. There are 16 steps to climb to reach the unit. This is a smoke and pet complimentary complex for your health and tranquility of mind. There is a modest 3 1/2 foot deep pool. We have our own private walkway to the beach with an open shower. We are just a two min. walk to Carolina Beach Lake with it's walking path and many venues on the weekend. Downtown and the new boardwalk with all the fine eateries and stores is less than a 15 min. walk. During the summer season there are amusement rides, bands, and a fireworks show every Thursday evening. No need to move your car to try and find a parking place downtown! Three miles to the south is Fort Fisher, the last southern port to surrender during the Civil War. You can visit the Civil War Museum, the fort, and the biggest aquarium in North Carolina. The Fort Fisher Ferry to Southport is at the southern tip of the island. Take a nice ferry trip and visit historic Southport for the day. Don't forget to visit downtown historic Wilmington and walk the Riverwalk along the Cape Fear River, just a 25 min. dirve from the condo.

Strategies to get the best Wrightsville Beach rental experience:

Get the most from your vacation rental budget:

  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are high season in the Wrightsville Beach area. To get the best value, try shifting your vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer pleasant weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your family.
  • Property managers usually offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Wrightsville Beach area travel guides which often include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Wrightsville Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

How to choose the perfect vacation home:

  • Begin by choosing potential vacation weeks and a budget.
  • Note the number beds and the bed configuration your group needs. Coral Surf B-1 - 2 Bedroom, 2 Full Bath Oceanfront First floor Center Unit has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is commonly accessible online. Otherwise, call the property management company before you reserve your rental. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches. You'll need to establish what is best for your vacation group.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to search for a rental that allows animals. Request specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Be aware that some property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a specific event or attraction? If so, use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .

Tips to have a terrific stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Save the directions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent lots of issues.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let thieves spoil your trip.
  • To make certain damages aren't attributed to your visit, inspect the property for any problem areas during check in. E-mail the rental manager right away to record any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Often times, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to confirm you did not forget any personal items. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent reviews to propel more bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
