Outdoor Living is the name of the game at Coastal Vibes! From the moment you step onto our screened-in porch, you will be transported into a fun, welcoming, happy, and harmonious ambiance. With your own backyard fire pit, a grille and a smoker, the family will adore hanging out in our outdoor living and dining space.  There is plenty of room for your toddlers to run around in our grassy yard.  The beach is only three blocks away and we provide a beach wagon to make the walk simple. Comfy Beds, a serene color palette, a pretty bright open floor plan with tasteful furnishings, and a clean, completely equipped kitchen provide everything you need for the ideal family beach vacation.

Rental Policies:
In response to increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Linens: Sheets and Towels are supplied by a professional linen service in sealed sanitary packages which will be laying on the top of the bedspread.

Off Season Check-ins begin at 3pm and are guaranteed by 5pm
Check out is by 10 AM.

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re-rented. If premises are re-rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee.

Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or appreciate a calming ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a cozy little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famed Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, appreciating the ocean vistas, or enjoying a beverage by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Rent a Jeep, bicycle, or golf cart as the most convenient ways to navigate the island. Annual off-season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.

About the Area

Located in Carolina Beach, this vacation home is on a river. Carolina Beach Boardwalk is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Wrightsville Beach. Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

How to book the best vacation property experience:

When to visit Carolina Beach & When to book:

• Summer is the most expensive season in the Wrightsville Beach area. To get the largest rental within budget, we strongly suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at Wrightsville Beach restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
• In the Wrightsville Beach area, The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
• Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
• Find a copy of your local Wrightsville Beach area magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines contain offers and deals for local accommodations, tours and attractions.

• First, have your group choose trip dates and a budget.
• Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Coastal Vibes Fire Pit - Grill - Smoker has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
• Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is often available on booking websites. Otherwise, contact the property manager before reserving the vacation home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to determine what is optimal for your vacation.
• Does your family require special amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find your ideal rental home.
• Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
• Some properties allow pets, but some don't. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the property management company about your furry family members before booking.

Considerations for your stay:

• Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Add a note with the instructions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
• To ensure that damages are not linked to your family's visit, note any problem areas upon check in. text the property manager right away to report any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be useful.
• Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
• Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would've never otherwise known about!
• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
• Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are gone, just like you would back home.
• Just before checking out, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Inspect the property one final time and look for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
• Leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to propel new bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
