About this Property

  • Sleeps 12
  • 5 Bedrooms
  • 4 Bathrooms
  • Private vacation home

Ideal solution for families or sizable groups travelling together. This property is two separate units, each with a private entrance, in one building. One unit is a single bedroom and bathroom and the other is four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Less than a mile to the Live Oak Bank Pavilion and just a couple of blocks to all that downtown has to offer. The entire duplex was just constructed in 2024 and is ready to host your group whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation!

This is a brand new home in Wilmington's Historic District--a rare find! The interiors are modern with a open living spaces. Each unit has its own kitchen with a refrigerator/freezer, sink, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, & coffee maker. Essentials like plates, cups, cookware, silverware, & paper towels will be supplied for your use, as well as ground coffee and coffee creamer and laundry detergent for the washer and dryer in each unit. The front (single bedroom) unit has a constructed-in electric fireplace and can sleep a max. of 4, but unless there are kids or petite adults it is most comfortable with 2 or 3. It is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit with a pull-out couch in the living area (slightly bigger than a twin) along with a convertible accent chair (slightly smaller than a twin). Note that the bathroom is connected to the bedroom, so if guests sleeping on the pull-out couch need to use the bathroom in the nighttime, they will need to access the bathroom by walking through the bedroom. This unit is one story and faces the street with its own private entrance.

The rear unit is two stories and has a separate entrance on the side of the home. This unit can sleep up to 8 people. The first floor has a kitchen and living space with a collapsible dining table and four folding chairs in addition to the four breakfast bar chairs. The first floor also has a full bathroom and a bedroom/office that has a twin daybed with a trundle as well as a desk for a dedicated working area. The trundle can be raised flush with the daybed to make one bigger bed rather than two twin beds. Upstairs you'll find a shared full bathroom, laundry room, two bedrooms with queen beds along with a master that has a king bed and private bathroom. Note that the master bedroom sits directly above the bedroom of the other unit in the duplex, so please refrain from loud noises or heavy footsteps!

Our top Wrightsville Beach vacation rental home tips and tricks:

Get the most from your rental budget:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Booking a rental in the Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Booking websites typically offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Wrightsville Beach visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitor guide magazines contain offers and deals for local accommodations and attractions.

Finding the perfect vacation rental in the Wrightsville Beach area:

  • Select a group lead, choose your trip dates, and select a max budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Whole duplex right downtown! has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, contact the property owner before booking the vacation property. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches.
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you must book a pet-friendly property. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Often, property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a particular Wrightsville Beach beach you simply love, keep an eye out for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

More tips for your visit:

  • Get the owner's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, television set or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents a lot of concerns.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • Upon check-in, document any issues with the property and immediately alert the property manager. Record all coorespondence.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an incredible resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at departure. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a fantastic stay? Most rental home management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
