  • June, July, and August are high season in Wilmington. To get the most suitable rental home within your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • In the Wrightsville Beach area, The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Some hosts offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.

  • Keep the property locked while you're away! Don't let burglars ruin your trip.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
