The Palmetto Place opened in 2021 as a luxury escape for couples and modest families who appreciate the natural wonder of Bald Head Island. Our cedar shakes are located in Cape Fear Station and a fast golf cart ride to the public beach access, nature trails, crabbing holes, and the stores at Maritime Market. When you want to getaway from the sun and salt air, our comfortable home will welcome you with modern amenities, quality linens, and refreshed decor so you can exhale from reality and completely rejuvenate. The only worry you'll have is which bottle of red to bring.

Get the most from your spending budget:

• In the Wrightsville Beach area, The sooner you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Wrightsville Beach area. To find the best value, consider changing your vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction.
• Booking websites often offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance.
