The Palmetto Place opened in 2021 as a luxury escape for couples and modest families who appreciate the natural wonder of Bald Head Island. Our cedar shakes are located in Cape Fear Station and a fast golf cart ride to the public beach access, nature trails, crabbing holes, and the stores at Maritime Market. When you want to getaway from the sun and salt air, our comfortable home will welcome you with modern amenities, quality linens, and refreshed decor so you can exhale from reality and completely rejuvenate. The only worry you'll have is which bottle of red to bring.

• Summer is high season in Bald Head Island. To get the most suitable rental within budget, we highly recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Wrightsville Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
