4 Live Oak Trail is your home away from it all! We do have a entirely outfitted home along with 2-4 passenger golf carts. We know how important it is to have the simple amenities on vacation making your trip worry complimentary. As far as our home layout we have an open floor plan with a bedroom (King), full bath, kitchen, dining and living room downstairs. Upstairs is a bunk room (2 twins), a master suite with bath (Queen) a sitting area and a full bath. We are centrally located on the island. We are less than 5 mins. from the ferry and the beach and about 2 mins. from the grocery store and all the maritime stores. We know you will appreciate our home as much as we do!

Located in Bald Head Island, this cottage is near the beach. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Booking a rental in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes.
• In the Wrightsville Beach area, The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked very early. Reserving your vacation home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
• Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
• Management companies and individual rental owners often offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses.
