Happy Honu (with a nod to the Hawaiian green sea turtle, known as a majestic link between man, land and sea), is a appealing five bedroom / 5.5 bath home located in Cape Fear Station. This reverse floor plan design includes three bedrooms downstairs: one cavernous master bedroom with private bath and a king bed. The second downstairs bedroom consists of a queen bed as well as its own private bath. The third bedroom has a double and twin bunkbed with an additional pull-out queen bed and an attached bathroom. There is also a enormous relaxing deck on the main, lower level as well as a roomy screened porch that can be accessed off both the queen and master bedrooms. Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Cape Fear Station, a neighborhood in Bald Head Island. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Caswell Beach and Bald Head Island Conservancy. North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting. Getting the most from your spending budget:

• The sooner your group can book, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Wrightsville Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your family qualifies for a special rate.
• Property management companies typically offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance.
