“American Dream” is located on an upsized lot on a peaceful cul-de-sac with impressive vistas of the Bald Head Island golf course and lagoon. This beauty was completely restored and taken down to the studs in 2020 and will be open for new units Spring of 2021! The home has been professionally decorated and tons of upgrades and nice finishing touches. The lower level contains 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a combo bath and shower. Bedroom 1 has a twin plus a bunk with a twin on top and a double bed on the bottom. Bedroom 2 has a queen-sized bed. Upstairs is the main living area with a gourmet / well supplied kitchen, half bath, broad porch overlooking the great water vistas of the lagoon and 2 master suites. Both master suites include king beds and private baths. The 3rd level is a loft with great ocean vistas! It also contains a separate bedroom with 2 queens. Three four passenger golf carts are also supplied for your enjoyment with the beach being less than a min. cart ride away!

When to go & When to book:

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Bald Head Island. To get the largest rental home within your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Wrightsville Beach attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
• Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your family qualifies for a special rate.
• Property managers often offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance protection. • Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let burglars ruin your holiday.
• Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget any personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Go through the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
• After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to inspire new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review.
