Finding the best Holden Beach rental home experience:

When to go & When to book:

  • Summer time is high season in the Wrightsville Beach area. Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Booking websites usually offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Wrightsville Beach area visitor guide magazines that include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Wrightsville Beach area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Make a plan and choose the perfect Wrightsville Beach vacation home:

  • Select a designated group leader, select your dates, and choose a budget.
  • Note the number beds and the bed configuration your group requires. Turtle Cove - Canal Home with Floating Dock and Pool! has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property manager before reserving the property. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches.
  • Visiting for a specific event? Try a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
  • If your group is traveling with pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Some property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.

More tips for your stay:

  • Add the property manager's contact info to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • To make certain damages aren't linked to your stay, inspect for any problem areas during check in. message the rental manager right away to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers disrupting your peaceful home life. Use the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a great vacation? Most rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
