The Taylor House is bright and newly remodeled, with original single pane windows, original wood floors (please don’t bring a level), 9’ ceilings, all the appeal of a historic home with all the modern amenities. Contemporary Kitchen, gas cooktop/oven, ceiling fans in all the bedrooms, three intelligent TV’s, Wi-Fi, new LG washer/dryer. Fenced in back garden to savor morning coffee or evening drinks.
One King bedroom, One Queen bedroom and the third bedroom has two twin beds. Two full bathrooms, one with a delightfully restored claw tub, the 2nd with a completely refreshed tile walk in shower plus a convenient ½ bathroom.
There is plenty of complimentary street parking on the street and 2 spots in front of the home.

The Taylor House is on a safe, pretty cobblestone street, surrounded by sprawling oak trees and impressive historic homes. Walk two blocks to the start of the award-winning Cape Fear Riverfront with countless eateries, coffee stores, galleries, breweries, wine bars, museums and stores along the way. Also, Chandlers Wharf is only two blocks aways with more restaurant options. The heart of downtown is an 8 min. walk.

Drive to North Carolina’s famed Wrightsville beach (11 miles) or Carolina Beach (16 miles) in 20 mins.. We are 5 miles from ILM airport.

Animals are welcome with a fee, please include family pets in booking.

Sticking to your spending budget:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in the Wrightsville Beach area. To get the best value, shift your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer great temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic.   • The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.

  • At departure, complete a final walk-through to confirm you have not forget any personal items. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, take video of the property to record its condition.
