The Salty Dog rental includes a six-passenger and a four-passenger golf cart and allocated parking on-site. For an additional fee, you can savor golf, tennis, and pools through temporary Bald Head Island Club membership.

Sleeps 10 (max.). 5 Bedrooms (1K-1K-1K-1Q-2T). Three full baths. (1) 6-passenger golf cart and (1) 4-passenger cart. Five mins. to beach access. Peak season arrival/departure day is Sunday with a 4 p.m. ferry/10:30 departure ferry. There is an elevator to the second and third floors.

Sticking to your spending plan:

• Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.

Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to determine what is right for your family.
• Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or charges applied to your agreement.
• Visiting for a single attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.

• Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
• Double-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
