Local island eateries are also close by and simple access to the bridge. This delightful island home has excellent vistas throughout, especially from the two levels of decking on the street-side with peeks of the ocean and salty ocean breezes. The beach access is conveniently located across the street and about two homes down to the left of the home. Your entire event will savor the convenience of the private swimming pool (open Easter - October).

Embrace the warmth of southern 'Hobbspitality'! Savor a welcome set of starter amenities, including one roll of paper towels, trash bags, laundry and dishwasher pods, dish soap, and a sponge. All bathrooms include one roll of toilet paper, trash bags, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion, makeup wipes, and bar soap. Strategies to get the best rental home experience:

Find your best deal:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Reserve your vacation home in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Wrightsville Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • In the Wrightsville Beach area, The earlier your group can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your rental property up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local Wrightsville Beach visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, travel guide magazines contain deals for local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Narrow your rental Search:

  • Start by choosing your potential vacation weeks and a spending budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. Hobbs Realty- Blvd Home w\/Private Pool, Elevator, and Den Area has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Wrightsville Beach rentals search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, email or call the host before booking your home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds.
  • Is your family looking for unique amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you must book a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Usually, hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.

Know before you go:

  • Be sure you get the host's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental.
  • To ensure that no damages are attributed to your family's stay, inspect for any problem areas when you arrive. Get in touch with the host immediately to record any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent many problems.
  • Be respectful. Often, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a wonderful time? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
