Gorgeous 2 bedroom Carolina Beach Vacation Rental with a deck overlooking the full size swimming pool. The building is oceanfront and this Condo is on the second floor, oceanview (not a direct oceanfront condo). Even though it's located on the side of the building, you still have incredible vistas of the ocean from your balcony. Conveniences include, 2 cable TVs (basic cable), a DVD player, a well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer and Wifi. Sandpebbles 6B is reasonably priced and centrally located on the Island, just across the street from the Carolina Beach Lake and only 11 short blocks South of the Boardwalk! Two swimming pools are available for your enjoyment from Mid May - Mid September (dates are determined by the HOA). Golf carts are not allowed on the premises.

**The HOA does allow for two guest parking passes, per guest visit. However, the Sand Pebbles HOA does not have assigned parking and cannot guarantee a parking space for any car. The HOA recommends that guests only bring one car during peak season. Sand Pebbles has 91 parking spaces and 72 units.

Sticking to a budget:

  • Summer is high season in the Wrightsville Beach area. Booking your vacation rental in the Fall or Spring is a great way to save on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked very early. Booking your rental property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.

  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a great resource to find the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would back home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and scan for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on excellent ratings to compel future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation rental. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
