Summary:
Salty Dog is a new 3Bd/4Ba townhouse with impressive and comfortable coastal decorating throughout. Ideal fit for a family that loves to vacation in style! This home has two living room areas; one enormous area on the main floor and a smaller Tv room on the first floor. This property is an simple 3 min. walk to the beach and close to the Ocean Front Grille and Tiki Bar. Centrally located to all things Carolina Beach: cycling, kayaking, fishing charters, hiking at the CB State Park and our famed boardwalks and fishing piers with great eateries and shopping!

The Space:
There is a murphy bed (this is a single bed for the 7th guest) in the first floor tv room; however, linens and towels ARE NOT supplied for this bed. Please bring your own linen if you plan on using this bed. This home is just one block from the beach. There is an outdoor shower and a modest fenced in back yard. The master bath has a amazing spa soaker tub.

Other Things to Note:
We also supply the following for each property:
A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everybody has their own preferences for these =) Please review our home rules prior to your stay

There is a Beach re-nourishment done in Carolina and Kure beach every 3 years. This helps to keep our beaches safe from erosion. Please note that we have no control over this project and that it is normally concluded by May, but there is a possibility of delays.

About the Area

Wilmington Beach, a neighborhood in Carolina Beach, is home to this vacation home. Ocean Front Park and Federal Point History Center are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum. Carolina Beach Boardwalk and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School are also worth visiting.

When to visit Carolina Beach & When to book:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.

You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property management companies usually offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance protection.   • Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a excellent stay? Many rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your property and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear it.
