  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Sunset Beach. To get the best value, try changing your vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property managers offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites typically offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance.
