When you are ready to head inside, you will be welcomed into an open living space that charmingly blends traditional and coastal styles! There is plenty of comfortable seating for everybody in your family or group, equipped with two sizable ottomans to kick your feet up, an enormous couch, and a couple of cozy club chairs. The sizable flatscreen TV hangs above a cabinet supplied with board games for the kiddos after a long day at the beach! The well-outfitted kitchen will have you feeling right at home in no time, with stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and all the supplies you'll need. For meals, you can gather around the enormous table together in the separate dining space off the kitchen.

On the main floor, you will find one of the four bedrooms, featuring a king-size bed, a huge flatscreen TV, and an upgraded bathroom.

At the top of the stairs on the second floor is a great additional/bedroom, with 2 double beds and one sleeper couch! It also features a skylight and a flatscreen TV.

The exceptional queen bedroom suite features a comfortable queen-size bed and a bathroom with a large vanity and tub-shower, and with a private balcony with ocean vistas. The fourth bedroom is a comfortable queen bedroom with impressive marsh vistas and simple access to the bathroom.

We know you want to relax without stopping at the store when you get to the island. To get you started, we provide a welcome kit that includes trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pod, washing machine pod, dishwashing soap, hand soap at every sink, bath soap, and shampoo/conditioner.

As you will find when selecting dates on the calendar, there are minimum stay requirements based on the season. There is a 7-nighttime minimum with a mandatory Saturday to Saturday rental pattern in the peak summer months, and there is more flexibility in the slower seasons. Located by the sea, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Caswell Beach and 57th Place West Access Park, while Franklin Square Gallery and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are cultural highlights.   • Booking in Fall or Spring months is a great way to save on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes.   • Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses.   • To ensure that damages are not linked to your family's visit, inspect the property for any problem areas during check in. Get in touch with the property manager immediately to report your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent a lot of problems.
  • Be respectful. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking rules is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Double-check the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Property managers rely on great feedback to inspire more reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best vacation rental. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
