From both the front door and the screened porch you enter the main living area with plenty of natural light coming from the 2 story living room which flows into the huge eat in dining area with a constructed in bench and a new, completely supplied gourmet kitchen. There is one bedroom and full bathroom downstairs, and 2 more bedrooms with their own full bathrooms upstairs as well as a laundry room.

Our home has the option of the Bald Head Island Club home membership which accepts you access to GOLF, all of the pools, playgrounds, and all 3 eateries! This is purchased by you directly through the club for an additional fee. This is the pool.
We purchased this home in 2020 and have completely refreshed and newly furnished each space in the home to bring beauty and tranquility to your vacation. All linens are professionally serviced and supplied with your stay and there are new luxury hybrid beds in each bedroom. We are excited to share our appreciate of Bald Head Island and especially our special place on the island with you!
A personal note from the owners:
Welcome to our little piece of Heaven, Palm Paradise! We live in Apex, North Carolina just outside of Raleigh and we have six kids ages 18, 16, 14, 12, 10 and 5, three boys and three girls. We have been coming to Bald Head Island for the past 8 years. We are so grateful that we found Bald Head Island when our kids were modest. They have had the chance to grow up coming here, there is no other place like Bald Head Island. It is a very special place for us.
When we step onto the Ferry we leave behind the chaos of our daily lives and Bald Head Island is a place we can be fully present. There is something special about having no cars and being fully immersed in nature that accepts you to breath and just be. As soon as we arrive our kids are off on their own exploring on their bicycles and appreciating freedom to be kids in nature. We spend our days at the beaches playing games, surfing and making sand castles, then we head over to the club and spend late afternoons playing in the pool, playground and sunbathing while grabbing some pre dinner snacks. We usually have something in the crockpot or eat dinner at one of the eateries at the club or marina. We round out our evenings with family games around the dining room table or we all sit on the humongous sectional and watch a movie together.
There's always a trip or two to the market and shopping is a regular stop for the girls at the four clothing stores, of which thier favorite is Island Passage. The ice cream stops are a daily bicycle ride for us all! My kids favorite is the loco pops at the marina while we watch the yachts roll in and out. The kids usually pair off and go on their own for these adventures. We often go watch the sunsets together and the teenagers adore these Instagram photos!
There is the weekly Turtle Trot 5k, which is open to everybody and benefits the Conservancy (plus you get a great t-shirt for participating). You can follow all of the turtle nest hatchings and excavations, which is an exceptional opportunity for all ages to experience nature firsthand. There are bird outings, kayaking, surfing, paddle boarding, fishing and even nighttime rides to monitor the sea turtle nests with the interns. There are countless activities through the BHI Club as well, from kids' camps, to family games and holiday special events. After all of this activity, don't forget there is a full-service spa to pamper you, too!
Over the years we have created our rhythms of activities we do on the island, as well as peaceful time too. We spent time on the porch listening to the waves and watching the sunsets. Our little ones appreciate to climb the ancient oaks surrounding the home. This time with our family is priceless. When we are on the island time goes slower and is more intentional. We are so grateful to have this modest part of the island as our own and are excited to share it with you.
This is our vacation home, and we have prepared it to make it yours as well. We have rented many homes on the island, and have learned what we believe a great vacation home should have. We have worked hard to ensure our home has all the luxuries that we would want in an exceptional beach vacation home. As a parent of 6 I know what its like to haul all the stuff this sized family would need for a successful beach vacation and I have tried to minimize this for our guests.

Tricks and tips to get the perfect rental home experience:
Getting the best rental home value:
- The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Booking your vacation rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
- To find the best value, change your vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Wrightsville Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
- Property managers often offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.
- Look for your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, visitor guide magazines contain offers and deals for nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.
Selecting the best rental in the Wrightsville Beach area:
- Choose your vacation dates and max budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. NEW GOLF CARTS, Renovated and newly Furnished Welcome to Palm Paradise has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is almost always accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, call the property management company before you book the rental. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- Some properties allow pets, and some don't. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the owner about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
- Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? Try a map search to find nearby rentals.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental
More considerations for your visit:
- Store the owner's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, intercom or washer/dryer. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent many concerns.
- Lock your rental property while you are gone! Don't let burglars ruin your vacation.
- Upon check-in, document any issues with the property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome vacationers bothering your home life. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would have not otherwise known about!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all of your things. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the property a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on good feedback to propel new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
