Perfectly located right across the street from the beach, this freshly constructed 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom vacation rental on Oak Island offers striking partial ocean vistas and premium amenities for your next stay! With many bespoke design elements and extravagant finishes throughout, you'll instantly notice no expense was spared when building this home in 2018. Highlights include a private pool, elevator, 2 oceanside balconies, and an inverted floor plan to take advantage of the vistas from the main living spaces and top floor primary bedroom. Plus, you're only steps from the beach, Middleton Park, Publix grocery store, and many fashionable dining options when you stay at Monkey Biscuits.

When you first walk into the open floor plan on the top level, you're instantly greeted by a light and airy ambiance complemented by the vaulted ceiling and upsized windows with handsome ocean vistas! The main living space features a massive sectional couch enchanting for snuggling up for some downtime to Netflix and chill in front of the 70" flatscreen TV. The kitchen is a chef's dream with remarkable bespoke cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, impressive blue tiled backsplash, and an broad center island with a sink and bar seating for up to 3. The dining space is a few steps away and offers seating for up to 8. There's even a half bathroom on this floor for added convenience.

Our favorite spot? The oceanside balcony with plenty of seating for everybody! It's the ideal place to appreciate your morning coffee and relax as the sun goes down over the beach in the evening. But the luxuries don't stop there; this home is especially ideal for a hideaway with multiple couples or a multi-generational vacation, as there are a total of 2 king and 2 queen beds! The modern coastal ambiance extends into the primary bedroom suite on this top floor! You'll find an abundance of natural light and ocean vistas in this room through the exterior doors that lead out to the balcony. It features a king-size bed, huge flatscreen tv, ample closet space, and a lavish ensuite bathroom that has an impressive tiled walk-in shower with jets and double vanity.

Heading downstairs, the first guest bedroom is on the left side of the hallway and features ocean vistas, a king-size bed, a flatscreen TV, and a door leading out to the lower balcony. The attached bathroom has a double vanity, ample cabinet space, and an extended walk-in shower with jets. Across the hall, you'll find the next guest bedroom with ocean vistas, a queen-size bed, sizable flatscreen tv, and a door that will take you to the lower balcony. This bedroom is connected to the next by a cavernous Jack and Jill bathroom with extended vanity and a tiled tub/shower combination. The coastal-inspired theme is also found in the last bedroom, which features a queen size bed, flatscreen TV, and community vistas.

The ground level is just as awe-inspiring with its enormous private pool and ample seating — including a picnic table! You'll also find an outdoor shower and grille that the grille master in your group will appreciate. There are more amenities than we can begin to list, like the beach gear available for your use (chairs and a wagon), wireless internet should you need to stay connected, and a enormous laundry closet with a full-size washer and dryer.

How to get the best Oak Island rental home experience:

When to visit & When to book:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Oak Island. To get the best value, shift your vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warm temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Wrightsville Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • In the Wrightsville Beach area, The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Booking websites usually offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Look for your local Wrightsville Beach visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guides have deals for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Make a plan and choose your prefectrental home:

  • Select a group leader, choose your vacation week, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration your group needs. Luxurious 2nd Row Home w\/ Private Pool, Elevator & Ocean Views has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly available on booking websites. If they are not listed, contact the property owner before you reserve the vacation property. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds. You will need to work out what bed configuration is suitable for your family.
  • Does your family require specific amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find your ideal rental home.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly property. Make sure to ask for details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Usually, property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.

Know before you go:

  • We recommend storing the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • Document any damages to the property during check in, and immediately send them to the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are very helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents lots of difficulties.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers disrupting your home life. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Double-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at departure. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to drive new reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will appreciate that you share your review find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
