A peaceful garden guesthouse in the heart of downtown. This property has a lot to offer if you would like to experience Wilmington's Downtown and Beaches but still would like to relax somewhere a bit more relaxing.
We offer a full kitchen supplied with all the silverware you may need. A Nespresso machine is available to appreciate cafe quality coffee and espresso while sitting on the covered porch or out in the garden.
The gardens and outdoor seating are yours to savor while staying as our guests.

The space
Our 1940's guesthouse is located in the heart of downtown. We have tried to maintain the historic appeal with slight modern renovations. This guesthouse is only accessible by climbing 13 stairs. If pre- arranged we can help assist with bags needs. Downtown city noise is to be expected from time to time as well as airplane noise. We have keypads installed for effortless arrivals.

Other things to note
The windows are not meant to be open. Do to there age and layers of paint, opening the windows can be dangerous. If you would like some fresh air, we have plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. Abiding by this will ensure that the home stays cool if you wish, and the bugs stay out.

About the Area

Northside, a neighborhood in Wilmington, is home to this guesthouse. Cape Fear Museum and Bellamy Mansion Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Children's Museum of Wilmington and Magnolia Greens Golf Plantation. To get the best rental for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Wrightsville Beach restaurants, beaches, and activities.
The sooner your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your rental up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
Owners sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
Property managers often offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.

Protect the property owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are out, just like you would back home.
Double-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed everything at check-out. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
Go through the property a final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
