“Always Ride The Wave” is a freshly decorated, newly furnished two bedroom / two bath condo located in Royal James with its own private community pool, outdoor shower and BBQ area. The elegantly modernized kitchen is completely outfitted for all your cooking desires. The master suite contains a King size bed with a private bathroom that includes a tub/shower combo. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with a bath containing a tub / shower combo. This condo has an in unit laundry closet plus both bedrooms have TV's in them. A pull out couch is in the living room for additional guests. There are two refreshed furnished balconies both accessible from each bedroom or main living area. The back balcony has a golf course view with ambient lighting while the front one looks over the pool. They are ideal for outdoor dining, your morning coffee or your afternoon drink  We also include a brand new 4 passenger golf cart for your Island cruising, wifi, 4 bicycles and a temporary lifestyle membership to the BHI Club and Shoals. The memberships are an additional fee purchased directly through the clubs.

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this condo is near the beach. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Sticking to your budget:

  • Summer is the most expensive season in Bald Head Island. Booking in Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties.
  • In the Wrightsville Beach area, The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation property six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies often offer customers an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses.   • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is generally available online. If not, contact the property owner before reserving the home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches.
  • Looking for special amenities? Most rental search websites include amenity lists and search filters. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the perfect rental.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or costs might be applied to your invoice.

More tips for your visit:

  • Be sure you get the host's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental. Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're away! Don't let thieves spoil your trip.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a great stay? Many rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
