  • Private vacation home

Welcome to the Twin Tides getaway. One of two of our unique side-by-side properties on the ICWW with a private pier and dock- with a slip available to our avid boaters (upon request and review assuming un-rented and for an additional fee). This is not a duplex, this listing is for the entire home- we just happen to own the home next door also!

Looking for a family reunion? Book our Twin Tides Blue private home also. Vistas of the Atlantic Ocean can be seen from our freshly remodeled property. Minutes away from Carolina Beach, the NC Fort Fisher Aquarium, the NC Battleship, golf courses or downtown Wilmington. This home spared no expense to really make it a getaway to visit time and time again. You will appreciate this coastal bungalow that looks like it came out of a novel.

Vistas of pristine non-developed Masonboro Island can be seen from the King and Queens private balcony or the semi wrap around porch. Appreciate your own private beach by kayak and make a day out of visiting Masonboro Island. Savor the pier and dock to play, paddle board, swim, fish, or just relax if water sports aren’t your thing. We offer kayaks and paddle boards to make life a little easier.

A chefs dream kitchen featuring all sub-zero and wolf appliances, granite and wood floor throughout the home, and a true view from every room- including from the brand new air tub in the King and Queens bathroom. While you have vistas of the intracoastal waterway from the front of the home, savor back yard vistas of the marsh and all she has to offer. This property is on a peninsula which accepts these rare vistas. Few properties can have the both of best worlds- and we’re one of them!

Grand yard for your fur friends to get some exercise or go for a swim and a playground for your little ones. There is also a sandbar that appears at low-tide that kids (and our dog kids) appreciate. This is great for kids to catch a hermit crab or go clamming and experience some of the coastal lifestyle.

Outdoor bathroom and shower to comfortably wash off!

4 separate bedroom home:
Room 1: King Bed
Room 2: King Bed
Room 3: Queen Bed
Room 4: Two Twin Beds

The two rooms suited for kids share a sizable Jack and Jill style tower-room: featuring, games, toys, and more to keep your little ones busy while getting a birds-eye view.

Book our sister home, Twin Tides II, next door for a family reunion where you can expect the same great vistas and similar accommodations.

House has newly gotten more updating and newer furnishings since these photos were taken, we can't wait for you to see our getaway!

Our top Wrightsville Beach vacation rental booking tips:

Cost saving strategies:

  • June, July, and August are high season in the Wrightsville Beach area. To book the best rental home within budget, we suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Wrightsville Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • The earlier you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are booked very early. Reserving your rental six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies usually offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Wrightsville Beach area travel guide magazines that include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Wrightsville Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Choosing the perfect rental home:

  • Select a group leader, choose your dates, and select a budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration your group requires. Twin Tides Intracoastal waterway cottage w\/views of the ocean private dock &more has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email the host before you book the home. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to determine what is suitable for your vacation.
  • Looking for specific amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the perfect rental home.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking
  • Some rental properties allow pets, but others do not. Acceptable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the owner about pet restrictions before booking.

Have a fantastic stay:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Add a note with the directions to your phone, and take a printed backup.
  • To make sure damages aren't attributed to your stay, record any problem areas during check in. Make contact with the property manager right away to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would have never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out and about. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the property to make sure you've collected all of your things. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to inspire more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
