117 West Bald Head is a impressive, well appointed home with great golf course vistas of the 7th fairway. It is tucked and secluded in the maritime forest. You feel like you are in your own private getaway off the beaten path! There are 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, finished refreshed kitchen and sizable screen porch over looking the great vistas of the golf course. The king master suite is on the first floor with great vistas and attached bathroom with a lot of closet space. The other 2 bedrooms share a bath one has a queen and the other a full size bed. Each room has access to a balcony overlooking the forest vistas. There is a queen bedroom upstairs ideal for some peaceful time with it's own private balcony & bath to appreciate sunshine! Please Note that the tram cannot go down the driveway and it will require some walking to pick up golf cart.

Oak Island Golf Club and Founders Club at St. James Plantation are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Caswell Beach and Fort Fisher State Recreation Area. Get the best rental value:

• Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Summer months are high season in the Wrightsville Beach area. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
• Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
• Booking websites often offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses.
