This four-bedroom, 4.5-bath getaway, located in the Maritime Forest of Bald Head’s sought-after Cape Fear Station, is appealingly located just mins. from the beach, the Conservancy, Cape Fear Commons and the Shoals Club.

Down a peaceful, wooded lane, this property charms with curb appeal from its white picket fence to its arbored drive and double porch façade. When you step up onto the first level's covered porch, you’ll want to linger and rock as you savor the ocean’s serenade and enchanting birdsong. Inside this reverse floor plan, the entryway welcomes with warm heart-of-pine floors and fashonable wainscoting. To the right is a nautically-themed suite furnished with a Full and a Twin. Behind its pocket door is a full bath ensuite with a tub/shower. Down the hall, a bright Queen suite is appointed with a four poster bed and mirrored armoire. It also has its own private bath. At the end of the hall, another Queen suite, with two closets and its own full bath, accesses a relaxing back screened porch. This is the ideal spot for morning coffee wildlife watching or a salty-breeze afternoon nap. This floor also homes the laundry, a hall entrance to the screened porch and egress to the home’s garage, where two golf carts (a six- and a four-passenger) are stored for guests’ use.

Upstairs, the open floor plan’s vaulted ceiling makes the most of all the sunshine coming in from four sides of windows. The cavernous living area is anchored by a decorative fireplace and provides entry to both the back screened dining porch and the home-length covered front porch. The close by granite drink station is conveniently located for calming refreshments inside or out. The adjacent dining space offers a table for eight with treetop vistas. Dine here or at the neighboring breakfast bar. The chef’s kitchen features granite counters, stainless appliances, a double sink and plenty of storage cabinets. Close by is a half bath. Don’t miss the King Owner’s Suite also tucked onto this floor. Plan to be indulged with a spa-like bath, sizable closet and private screened-porch access. Once on that screened porch, it’s just a short climb up the spiral staircase to the rooftop deck and its gorgeous vistas.
