Appreciate this comfortable, yet huge, condo with an ocean view in the heart of Oak Island. It's a great place to relax and also be in very close proximity to the beach, stores, eateries and grocery stores all at the same time. You are likely to not even need to drive unless you want to venture further out to some of the other great attractions the island and close by towns have to offer. The Ocean Crest Pier is also very close by (just a short drive up E. Beach Drive to the right). Come and get away from it all. The hustle and bustle of our little family-aligned island town is nowhere near as crazy as the big city. Here, you're just a short "Ocean Walk" away from total relaxation with still a bit of convenience.

About the Area

Located near the beach, this condo is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Oak Island Golf Club and Founders Club at St. James Plantation are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Magic Mountain Fun Park are also worth visiting. Kayaking and water skiing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and hiking nearby.

Vacation rental tips and tricks:

Finding the best rental home value:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Booking a rental in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, travel guides have deals for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Choosing the best rental in Oak Island:

  • Select a group lead, select your vacation dates, and select a max budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family requires. Extremely Spacious & Beautiful, 4 Bedrooms 4 Bathroom Ocean View Condo, Sleeps16 has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is almost always accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, email the host before reserving the rental. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You'll need to work out what is best for your trip.
  • If your family is traveling with pets, you must book a property that allows animals. Request information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Usually, property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a specific event? If so, use a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking.

More tips for your visit:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Save the directions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents lots of problems.
  • Keep the property locked while you're away! Don't let crooks spoil your trip.
  • At Check-in, note any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the owner. Record all coorespondence.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a fantastic resource to find the best local scenic spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected everything. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on good ratings to inspire more bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best vacation home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
