WELCOME to Historic Ebert-Artis Cottage!

We hope you have a great stay in Wilmington's Stunning Historic District! The Ebert-Artis House is a modernized downtown home with modern amenities all while maintaining its historic appeal. This property features a stately front porch, chic modern kitchen, charming wood floors, fenced in rear yard, and off street parking! The upstairs features two guest bedrooms, a full guest bathroom and a gorgeous owner's suite, which includes a remodeled bathroom with dual vanities, soaking tub, and enormous walk-in shower. The downstairs features office (or 4th bedroom!), formal dining, eat in kitchen and living room with fireplace. You'll adore spending time in the cavernous backyard complete with a fire pit and grille. The home is equipped with a whole home water filtration system and comes with plenty of room to have space for all of your family and friends!

The location of Ebert-Artis Cottage really can't be beat. You'll be able to comfortably walk to all the striking stores and eateries that Downtown Wilmington has to offer. The Riverwalk is only a few blocks away as well. You're close enough to get all the benefits of downtown but in a peaceful location away from all the hustle and bustle.

Guests will have full access to the entire home, porch, and yard space. There is a locked owners closet for our supplies, but everything else is yours to use.

Get the most from your rental budget:

  • Booking in Fall or Spring months is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.

  • Lock your rental property while you are away! Don't let thieves ruin your vacation.
  • Re-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed everything on check-out day. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a wonderful stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
