About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Caswell Beach, while Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights. Sticking to your budget:

• The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Reserve your rental property in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Wrightsville Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.

• Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
• Re-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Go through the rental a final time and scan for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, remember to take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
• After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent reviews to drive new reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review.
