The Islander Villas Community is on the west end of the island which has a much wider beach and is less busy than the upper end. The Islander Villas community has a very nice ocean front pool club with pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, outdoor tiki bar all on the ocean front as well as 4 community tennis courts.
Ocean Isle Beach is a south facing barrier island with 7 miles of beach on the Atlantic Ocean, located 12 miles south of the NC/SC border. Ocean Isle Beach is a much quieter and less busy island than areas like Myrtle Beach, etc. The beach is spectacular and is very wide and clean with a nice gentle slope. The island has a fishing pier, arcade, surf stores, eateries, museum, ice cream parlor, mini golf course, bicycle, jet ski, kayak, boat and golf cart units. The backside of the island has peaceful protected water great for kayaking.

About the Area

Located in Ocean Isle Beach, this villa is near the beach. Rees Jones Golf Course and Leopard's Chase Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Ocean Isle Beach and Sage Island. Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium are also worth visiting.

  • At Check-in, record any issues with the property and immediately contact the owner. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Be a good neighbor. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent ratings to compel future reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation.
