206 Woody Hewett. Pet Friendly (with pet fee). Updated vintage 1930s beach bungalow, one street back from ocean, within steps of main public access. Premier location: walk to Boardwalk, lake (farmers market and outdoor movies), and eateries. Watch fireworks from the cavernous porch with hammock. One room with California king bed, one room with a full bed and twin with trundle, additional rollaway cot, and one room with queen bed. Wi-Fi. ROKU (no cable/local channels only). Washer/dryer. Outdoor rec room and shower. Gas grille. 2 bicycles for renters use.

Money saving strategies:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Booking your vacation rental in the Spring or Fall is a good way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • In the Wrightsville Beach area, The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are booked very early. Reserving your vacation rental six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies often offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses.
