About this Property

  • 4 Bedrooms
  • 3 Bathrooms
  • Private vacation home
  • Approximately 1600 square feet

Mermaid's Tale welcomes you to her adventure by the sea! We are directly across the street from beach access to the impressive white sand Ocean Isle Beach and also across the street from the Summer Place HOA pool. We have 4 comfortable bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There are two 2nd floor bedrooms which have private baths with showers and 2 main floor bedrooms that share a sizable Jack and Jill bath with a tub/shower combo. The huge vaulted central living room/kitchen/dining has plenty of space for your family or group to prepare, dine and relax together. When we purchased the home we remodeled the kitchen with a fresh white and turquoise color scheme, quartz island counter top, and new appliances. We replaced all the carpeting and bedroom floor. There is a 42" TV in the living room, visible from the kitchen and dining areas. There is also home wide WIFI access. The covered front porch has limited ocean view but plenty of shade for morning coffee and lazy afternoons. The backyard is fenced and ready to hang out in and do some grilling. We definitely appreciate our home and Ocean Isle Beach for its casual and casual beauty and we know you will too!

How to book the best Ocean Isle Beach rental home experience:

Getting the best value:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in the Wrightsville Beach area. Book your rental home in the Fall or Spring to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Wrightsville Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Wrightsville Beach visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines have coupons for nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Select a group leader, choose your vacation week, and select a spending budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Charming Ocean View Home With a Community Pool has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is almost always available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, contact the property owner before reserving the home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to work out what is best for your vacation group.
  • Does your group require special amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you will need a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for details on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Take a copy of the host's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your . Store the host's information in your smartphone.
  • Note any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately contact the host. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are useful if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, stereo or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent a lot of concerns.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a fantastic source for finding the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • Double-check the property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a wonderful time? Many rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
