Recently refreshed rental for 2024! This handsome beach home is in a prime location – steps from the beach, and close to Bald Head Island Club. It features a reverse floor plan, offering spectacular ocean vistas from the deck, living, and dining areas on the upper floor. Cavernous decks are on both floors.
The kitchen and living area have freshly been updated and painted. The upper floor deck also includes a 48” stainless steel gas grille that can handle outdoor cooking for the biggest of families or groups.
Two master suites, and two other bedrooms all have ocean vistas and three of them also have direct deck access. One bedroom features two sets of bunk beds, with twin beds on top and queen size beds on the bottom. The other three bedrooms have king size beds.
Wireless internet access is supplied throughout the home. The living area includes a 55" TV and a Sonos sound bar with Bluetooth audio connectivity. TVs are in all bedrooms.
Bikes and beach gear are included in the cavernous ground floor garage and storage area. The home comes with one 6-seat and one 4-seat golf cart.

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher. Getting the most from your spending budget:

• The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your rental property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.

Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
• Property management companies usually offer customers an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.

Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms.
• If your group is vacationing with pets, you will need a pet-friendly rental. Make sure to ask for details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Be aware that some property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.
• Visiting for a single attraction or event? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
• Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

Advice for your stay:

• Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
• Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent lots of issues.
• Lock your rental property while you are away! Don't let crooks spoil your trip.
• During check-in, note any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
• Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers disrupting your home life. Use the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known about!
• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
• When it's time to leave, complete a final walk-through to confirm you have not forget anything. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
• Leave a review! Property managers rely on great ratings to propel more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
