With enough space to sleep up to 15 guests, this 2nd row beach home is the ideal destination for enormous families or groups of friends looking to soak up the sun and surf.
The home features an inverted floor plan with an elevator, ensuring that all guests can comfortably access all levels of the home.
Barefoot on the Beach is less than a mile from OIB Town Center Park which makes it very convenient to appreciate all the fun activities sponsored by the town of OIB, including the trendy summer concert series, outdoor movies and weekly farmers market. You are also just a short walk from the pier, mini-golf, eateries and more.
There are 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, providing ample space and privacy for all guests. Each of the 5 bedrooms has deck access, so you can wake up to the relaxing sounds of the ocean and savor the fresh ocean breeze.
The home features 2 family rooms with huge Intelligent TVs, a full size washer and dryer and wireless high speed internet throughout the home. Each bedroom is also equipped with intelligent TVs with Roku.
Take advantage of the delightful vistas of the ocean from the observation deck on the 3rd level. There are decks on the 1st and 2nd floors, ideal for calming in the sun or appreciating a meal with friends and family.
The home also features a private pool with the ability to be heated during the cooler months, and outdoor shower with hot and cold water, ideal for rinsing off after a day at the beach.
For those who adore to prepare, the completely supplied kitchen comes complete with all appliances you may need including an instapot and air fryer. A gas grille is also available for outdoor cooking and dining.
The Resort club which is located directly across the street from your front door provides a elegant pool home and pool, beach access and bathroom facilities available only to the residents and guests of the Resort neighborhood. The neighborhood also offers access to a crab pier with a handsome view of the intercoastal waterway and the bridge.

When to reserve a Wrightsville Beach rental home & When to go:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in coastal NC. To book the best rental within your budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Wrightsville Beach restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Wrightsville Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.

Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to establish what configuration is best for your vacation.
  • Are you visiting for a specific event? Try a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking.
  • Traveling with pets? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or charges may be applied to your contract.

Advice for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental. Store the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Document any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately contact the owner. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be valuable if a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents lots of concerns.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers bothering your life at home. Use the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your rental home while you are away. Protect your property!
  • Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to make sure you didn't forget any personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and look for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on excellent reviews to inspire new bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective.
