This downstairs unit, of a freestanding historic duplex, was constructed in 1903, the same year the Wright Brothers made their historic flight. As a tribute, this unit has been completely redesigned with propeller ceiling fans and state of the art technology.

You will have the entire downstairs floor (approx. 1100 square feet) to yourselves.

Located on the waterfront, this vacation home is in Wilmington Historic District, a neighborhood in Wilmington. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Halyburton Park and Brunswick Nature Park, while Cape Fear Museum and Bellamy Mansion Museum are cultural highlights. Children's Museum of Wilmington and Carolina Heights are also worth visiting. Kayaking and windsurfing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and horse riding nearby.

  • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, ensure that you take video of the rental to record its condition.
