Welcome to Hipnautic Waves, a delightfully refreshed end unit condo on the 2nd row from the beach just steps to the sand with calming ocean vistas, breeze and sounds. Sit on the sizable covered balcony or inside and listen to the Hipnautic Waves crashing just across the street!

This bright & airy 3 Bed/2 Full Bath condo is in the only condo building located on the quieter less congested west end of Oak Island, and with just 15 condo units offers a more peaceful experience. As an end unit condo, it has added privacy along with windows on 3 of 4 sides, plus 2 sets of sizable sliding glass doors for tons of natural light & ocean vistas! Since OKI is a South-facing beach, we get fantastic photo worthy sunsets & sunrises, both over the water.

This entirely modernized condo includes a new kitchen with all stainless steel appliances, Quartz countertops throughout, recessed lighting, ceiling fans & vinyl plank floor. There is complimentary on-site parking (3 Spaces) and community picnic bench. When you return from your walk across the street from the beach, wash off that salt & sand at the Outdoor Shower. Conveniently store all your beach gear in the storage closet just outside the front door.

Feel a comfortable stay in the cavernous open kitchen, dining & living area. The kitchen is completely supplied to prepare all your delicious meals including Drip Coffee Maker (single serve & pot), Hot Water Kettle, Blender, Bagel-Sized Toaster, Electric Griddle & Crock Pot. The huge countertop with island is great for additional prep & serving space. The window in the kitchen overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway which is within walking distance! The living area, with plenty of comfortable seating, has a enormous screen TV with extended cable and HBO, plus HDMI ports for Roku/Fire TV etc. The huge coffee table is ideal for playing games & assembling puzzles.

This superb location is convenient for the beach, walking, fishing, boating, kayaking, paddleboarding, cycling, running, birdwatching or simply relaxing. Walking distance to 2 beach access points & public fishing dock; under 2 miles away is The Point with powder soft sand, wildlife viewing & photo worthy vistas. Oak Island's groceries, shopping, 2 piers, splash pad, skateboard park, craft fairs, eateries, bars, live music & outdoor concerts with Food Trucks are under 5 miles away. We recommend Lonerider (1.4 mi) with food, drinks, game nights, cornhole, large outdoor space; and Island Way Restaurant (2.4 mi) on the pier with great ocean vistas. There is a public boat ramp & water access point at 57th Place (1.4 mi). Visit Historic Southport with eateries and shopping.

You will probably have spent a lot of your time at the condo sitting on the deck observing the tides come & go, feeling those restorative sea breezes & listening to those HipNautic Waves. Perhaps you were contemplating just how soon you can return.

Getting the best Wrightsville Beach vacation property experience:

Sticking to your spending plan:

  • Summer is the most expensive season in coastal NC. To find the best value, try changing your vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer pleasant temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Wrightsville Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Often, management companies supply Wrightsville Beach area visitor guides which will include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Wrightsville Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Planning and picking the bestvacation home:

  • Begin by selecting your vacation dates and a max budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration your family requires. 2nd Row • Ocean Views • Newly Remodeled • Dog-Friendly • 2-min Walk To Beach has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally available online. If not, call the host before booking the vacation property. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to determine what bed configuration is right for your vacation family.
  • Are you looking for special amenities? Most rental search websites include amenity lists and search filters. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Remember to confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and some don't. Acceptable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask your host about pet restrictions before booking.

During your stay:

  • Be sure you get the owner's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental.
  • Upon arrival, record any damages to the property and immediately alert the owner. Record all coorespondence.
  • Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often times, adjacent homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected everything. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to inspire new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
