Make some memories in Calabash and go fishing with Calabash Fishing Fleet aboard the "Cyclone."
Depending on the excursion, you might hook into Amberjack, Almaco Jack, Wahoo, Vermilion Snapper, Blacktip Shark, Gray Triggerfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Grunt, Gag Grouper, Black Seabass, Cobia, Red Snapper, and who knows what else! On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep.
Your boat for the day is "Cyclone," a 45’ Key West that can carry up to 42 passengers. This is a complete walkaround fishing vessel! Super spacious with inside and outside seating, this unique fishing vessel is equipped with the latest navigation and fishing equipment and can be utilized for chartered sport fishing as well as large group bottom fishing excursions. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips, and it’s customary to offer them a 15-20% tip. You will not need a fishing license while aboard this fleet as each vessel is licensed fully for every passenger! This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are welcome! You can’t go wrong when you bring snacks, drinks, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
Now’s the time to experience fishing in Calabash for yourself with Calabash Fishing Fleet!
