Book your next trip with Badfish Fishing Charters and find out what keeps anglers coming back to Sneads Ferry for more. With Captain Daniel at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
These waters are known for Gag Grouper, Triggerfish, Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Black Seabass, Amberjack, Cobia, Vermilion Snapper, Bull Shark, Wahoo, and more. During the trip, you might be spinning, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Daniel can also help you try kite fishing.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Some essentials to bring are snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!
You’ll find yourself aboard a 26’ C-Hawk with room for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips, and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
